Destination Edinburgh Marketing Alliance (DEMA) - One Year On...

1 April 2010 marks the first anniversary of the formation of the Destination Edinburgh Marketing Alliance Ltd (DEMA).
One year on we have successfully brought the city together, under the banner "Edinburgh Sparkles", for the city’s first collaborative marketing campaign; laid the foundations for our operating systems such as the GLIDE online media office and CRM system; strongly developed consumer social media marketing and blogging activity; set out our 2010/11 action plan; and are strengthening DEMA’s credibility and reputation.
In 2010 we will start negotiations on the integration of DEMA with the Edinburgh Convention Bureau and Edinburgh Film Focus, further strengthening Edinburgh’s city promotion activity by creating a new single organisation.
