New photography of Edinburgh which captures the variety of light in the city were taken by Darran Barton, Edinburgh Inspiring Capital's official photographer. The images include Edinburgh's shifting skies, panoramic city views and new images of St Andrews Square. The 40 new images have been uploaded to the image library and are now available for download.

Destination Edinburgh Marketing Alliance (DEMA) - November update
Leithal Thinking (part of the Leith Agency) have been appointed to create the new Destination Promotion Strategy for DEMA. It is anticipated that the study will be concluded by the end of January which will then enable the production of the business case/plan for DEMA to enable a ‘soft’ launch of the Alliance in April 2009. Edinburgh welcomes Olympic heroes

Kilted Scots launch calendar
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital were pleased to support the One City Trust calendar launch on 10 October. With a foreword by Sir Sean Connery, the Calendar has photographs of famous Scots wearing the iconic Kilt in fabulous Scottish settings. For the full story see the news section of the website.

Sparkle in the city this Christmas
Christmas in Edinburgh is truly inspirational! Join with us for the annual switch on of 200,00 Christmas lights all over the city on Light Night, November 27.
