New photographs on investment and business have been added to the online image library. The images include business meetings, office staff, interior building shots, Edinburgh Park and the BT building.

Shortlisted for Best Website!
The Brand Adopter's website was shortlisted for the Best Website category at the recent Communicators in Business awards held on 27 February 2009. The Brand Adopter's website was launched in June 2008 and contains an extensive online image library plus online shopping facility for ordering Edinburgh branded goods. Edinburgh Inspiring Captial was pipped to the post by the Edinburgh Castle website. |

Destination Edinburgh Marketing Alliance (DEMA) - March update
The last of the five Destination Promotion Strategy worskshops, facilitated by Leithal Thinking, has been completed. Leithal Thinking’s aims for the coming weeks are to provide clarity on: DEMA's objectives for Edinburgh as a whole; DEMA's objectives for each of the 5 areas (visit, invest, study, live and work); DEMA's role and the bureau versus alliance debate. Kolkata Book Fair 2009
Scotland was the theme country at Asia's biggest Book Fair, the 2009 Kolkata Book Fair. Edinburgh Inspiring Capital worked with the British Council to ensure a positive perception of Edinburgh to the 2 million strong Indian audience. Edinburgh branded goods such as pens, website flyers and bookmarks were given out at key events such as the Alexander McCall Smith Inaugural speech and the Burns supper. Open for Business update
The Open For Business group are producing a new magazine to promote the city centre. EHLiving, produced by by Treacle Productions (I-on Magazine), will be launched at the end of March. This bi-annual, glossy 36-page magazine will promote the retail and lifestyle opportunities within the Open For Business areas. The key objective for the magazine is to drive footfall and increase spend in Edinburgh’s City Centre, Leith and the West End throughout the duration of the tram construction. Edinburgh Inspiring Capital have been working with Essential Edinburgh and Open for Business to develop a Edinburgh Shopping website to support the magazine. This will be launched in March and is available at www.edinburghshopper.com

Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Get Bus-y!
Edinburgh Inspiring Capital and VisitScotland are working together to provide a warm welcome to new visitors. The visitor information bus will travel round various events and offer information on things to see and do in Edinburgh and throughout Scotland. The bus will help to inspire visitors to make the most of their visit and encourage them to visit again. Look out for the bus at T in the Park, the Heineken Cup Final, The Open Golf, The Clan Gathering and the World Mountain Biking Championships. |

Made in Edinburgh
Made in Edinburgh invites you to enjoy Edinburgh's finest moments on the big screen! Made in Edinburgh celebrates the moving image industry and its talent within the Edinburgh City Region. Special screenings of local productions and work shot on location in and around Edinburgh will be shown once a month at Filmhouse. The programme launches with a screening of Restless Natives on March 12 at 8.30pm, don't forget to wear your clown mask! Forthcoming Events and Conferences
