Management Leadership Network and MCE Recieve CIPR Award
for Management Month 2007!
Chris Johnston, MCE and Kevin Kelly, Management Leadership Network, recieve the CIPR PRide award
The Management and Leadership Network (MLN) and MCE Public Relations have been recognised at the CIPR PRide awards for excellence for its campaign ‘Management Month 2007’. The campaign ‘Management Month’ took place during February 2007 and formed part of a concerted drive to encourage small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to
view the investment in leadership and management capabilities as being in their best interests and crucial for business growth.
Management Leadership Network Operations Executive Kevin Kelly said:
“This award highlights the public value that Management Leadership Network has contributed to the
Northern Ireland business community over the last year. This has been reflected by the fact that Management Month 2007 was the most successful to date with over 2,000 people taking part in leadership development activities throughout the month. Our partners MCE Public Relations have brought tremendous value by enabling us to communicate to the
Northern Ireland business community with clarity and impact. It shows that we continue to achieve excellence in all that we do.”
The PRide award seeks to recognise excellence in public relations campaigns across the
UK. Management Leadership Network and MCE were recognised for its outstanding campaign in the public sector beating stiff competition from other worthy public sector initiatives that have taken place in the last year.
Commenting on the ‘Management Month 2007’ campaign judges of the CIPR PRide Awards said:
“This campaign demonstrated value for money, with clear results and evidence of reaching the target business audience. Its use of very well known business leaders was effective in generating case studies and media coverage as part of a well-orchestrated integrated approach.”
